Formosa Plastics Corp., Texas donated $141 thousand for the Formosa Texas – Calhoun High School – Scholarship Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to provide annual scholarships to top graduates at Calhoun High School. This year the foundation awarded $48,000 in scholarships to 24 CHS graduates. Since 1993 the foundation has distributed over $1.2 million. This donation will help ensure that the foundation will be able to sustain the current level of scholarships awarded for future generations.
